Installation on Nokia mobile phones
Certificate error? If you have trouble installing applications
During the installation process on a Symbian Series 60 device (e.g. Nokia N95, Nokia N78) you might see an error message like:
Certificate error. Contact the application supplier.
In this case, the phone will stop the installation.
To solve this issue, you have to adjust the installation settings.
On your mobile phone choose:
1.) Applications
2.) start App.mgr.
3.) choose Options then
4.) Settings
5.) allow all Software installations
6.) switch off Online certificate check
Afterwards, your phone should accept the installation.
